About Schema Reflect

Schema Reflect creates free, privacy-first educational tools that help people put words to recurring emotional patterns before journaling, therapy, or further learning.

Our purpose

The site translates schema-therapy concepts into plain-language explanations, reflection prompts, and original questionnaires. The goal is better self-understanding, not diagnosis or treatment.

Our tools

The Schema Reflect Inventory compares 18 schema patterns using 144 original items. The Dominant Schema Snapshot offers a shorter orientation, and the Coping Styles Check-In explores surrender, avoidance, and overcompensation. These tools are original educational resources, not the proprietary Young Schema Questionnaire.

Privacy by design

Questionnaire responses and results are stored locally in the browser. No account is required, and responses are not sent to Schema Reflect for scoring or storage. Clearing browser data can remove local results, so users can export a PDF for their own records.

Use with professional support

A self-reflection result is a conversation starter. If symptoms are persistent, severe, or affecting safety and daily functioning, consult a qualified mental-health professional.
